Sofia Rosolini

Born in Bologna in 1989, she entered the Accademia Teatro alla Scala at the age of 13, and she participated in all performances and tournée. She graduated in June 2008.

During 2008/2009 season she joined the Bavarian State Ballet in Munich, participating in the company’s productions, also interpreting solo roles in Jiří Kylián’s new creation for the company, Zugvögel and in William Forsythe’s Enemy in the figure.

She joined Teatro alla Scala Corps de Ballet in 2009, making hes debut in December 2009 in the role of the Elected in Maurice Béjart’s Le sacre du printemps.

She has performed as a soloist in several ballets such as Artifact by Herman Sherman and In the middle somawhat elevated by William Forsythe; Swan Lake; Casanova in L’altro Casanova by Gianluca Schiavoni; Rubies by George Balachine; Myrtha in Giselle; La Luce in Excelsior; Clemence in Raymonda by Sergej Vikharev.

Since 2013 she has been a member of the Paris Opera Ballet, she has participated in all the productions and she has been given, in July 2015, a permanent contract.

She also has been chosen for the piece: ” ALEA SANDS ” by Wayne McGregor and ” CASSE-NOISETTE ” by Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui Eduard Lock and Arthur Pita.
