Ohad Kalmy was born in 1994 in Tel-Aviv, Israel.

He started dancing at folk dance troupe Hora Reim, Holon.

In 2012, he graduated the dance department at Campus Kiryat Sharet High school, Holon.

In 2015, he graduated B.Dance from the Jerusalem Academy of Music and

Dance and teacher certification from the Israeli Ministry of Education, while serving in the IDF as an “Outstanding Dancer.”

During his studies, he was awarded two full scholarships for the 2013 and 2014 American Academy of Ballet summer courses at Purchase College, SUNY.

In 2015-2016, he was an apprentice with Ballet Ness-Ziona, dancing in The Sleeping Beauty and The Nutcracker Productions.

In 2015-2018, he taught Classical Ballet and Dance History at Campus Kiryat Sharet High School, Holon. Moreover, he conducted the dance department in 2017-2018.

In 2018-2019, he danced with Jerusalem Dance Theatre.

In addition, he danced with the Israel Ballet in the Cinderella production in 2019.

Since 2017, Ohad is a member of Rina Schenfeld Dance Theatre.
