Maulid Owino is a Dancer based in Africa Kenya.

His career in dance began in an independent way, since he was a child dance and gesture became for him a way to discover the hidden and spontaneous truth of art as a social science, an art that deals with man, gesture and expression to discover the real meaning of art as a human science.

The urgency of body movement pushed him to do research about dance and the various ways of body expression, and he started a project of curating Dance Unites, movement. bringing together different form of arts to express feeling of liberation through dance, body movements and expression.

The vision behind his profession is the ability of dance to bring together different forms of body expression and allow free expression that dialogues with the idea of an authentic art and creation that doesn’t have to fit within some given criteria which one can use to judge a performance.
