Irupé Sarmiento is an Argentinian professional dancer and Cráneo-sacral therapist, graduated as an Elementary Ballet Teacher and as a Contemporary Performer.

She worked professionally at the Ballet Taller Juvenil de la Provincia de Salta. She was soloist at the Ballet Contemporáneo del Teatro General San Martín em Buenos Aires (Dir.Maurício Wainrot), at São Paulo Cia de Dança (Dir.Iracity Cardoso e Inês Bogéa) and at StaatsBallet Augsburg (Dir.Ricardo Fernando), working also at Balé da Cidade de São Paulo (Dir.Iracity Cardoso).

As Freelancer she worked in Brasil with Luis Arrieta,with Samuel Kavalerski in co-creation of the piece Céu de Espelhos, with Alex Soares and with Jorge Garcia.

She was recognized with the Clarín prize as Dance Revelation, with the Best Actress-Model Award (London) and nominated for the APCA prizes in São Paulo as best Performer.

At the moment she works as Freelancer.
