Farzaneh Joorabchi is a singer and musician.
She was born in Teheran, Iran and studied classical Persian music with the greatest masters of Persian music.
She has graduated at the Faculty of Architecture in Florence (Italy) and she lives between Iran and Italy.
She collaborated with various artists in Italy, Germany, Iran, Morocco, Senegal and The United States.
For several years she performed in concert with the band “Al Qantarah” performing the medieval sicialian music and its connection with eastern music and recoding the album “Abballati Abballati”.
She has performed widely in Europe as a solo artist and has worked to several collaborations.
From 1999 Farzaneh Joorabchi collaborates with the Music Department of Wellesley College (Boston)USA , workshops and concerts , and then forms a duet with virtuous pianist Lois Shapiro.
She collaborates to Ad.agio, concerti a corpo libero, the interesting collaboration with Solisti dell’Accademia di Santa Cecilia Cecilia Roma Italy
She takes part to MUSA, a new concept for classical music in collaboration with the Deutsche Staatsphilharmonie in Germany
She collaborated with Hooshyar Khayam, an Iranian composer to the Album Verses in The wind and with Dri Alaoui Mdaghri at the project Come to My Home, in Morocco.
She was involved with the project Music, Ecstasy, Healing from ancient Persia within she performs seminars and vocal laboratory with a children and adults in Italy, Morocco, Germany, Denmark, Iran.
As a Singer and Music Performer Farzaneh Joorabchi was awarded the Prize at the fourth edition of the “On the Road Festival” held in Pelago, Florence, in 1992.
