Elisa Bonazzi is a Mezzosoprano. She hold a degree in opera singing at Bologna Conservatory with Monica Bacelli. She’s now specializing in the contemporary repertoire with Alda Caiello.

She experienced concert performances in assemble and as soloist, with baroque and contemporary music.

She made her debut as Bradamante in the Orlando Furioso by Vivaldi at Teatro del Giglio in Lucca and as Orfeo in Orfeo e Euridice by Gluck, in L’Aquila with the Orchestra Sinfonica Abruzzese.

She is founding member of Zero Vocal Ensemble, a vocal group interested in madrigal repertoire of Rinascimento and in contemporary music.

She collaborates with different ensembles as Collegium Vocale Gent, the Coro della Radiotelevisione Svizzera Italiana, Coro del Teatro Regio di Parma, Coro and Orchestra Ghislieri, Coro of the Opéra Dijon.

She has been directed by R. Muti, W. Ashkenazy, R. Abbado, D. Fasolis, M. Poschner, D.Russell Davies, J. Webb.

She performed at Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, LAC and Auditorium RSI in Lugano, Royal Opera House Muscat (Oman), Théâtre de La Criée in Marsiglia, Flagey in Bruxelles,

Teatro Comunale in Bologna, Teatro dell’Opera di Dijon, Biennale di Venezia, Festival Enescu, Angelica Festival, Mart in Rovereto.

She recorded for Tactus, Glossa, Amadeus, Cristophorus.
