She was born and raised in Sweden where she graduated from the Royal Opera School of Stockholm, she continued her studies at Alvin Ailey in New York and London Contemporary Dance School. She was part in the CULLBERGBALLET under the direction of Carolyn Carlson, working with some of the greatest choreographers of our time such as Mats Ek, Ohad Naharin and Jiri Kylian.
From an early age she worked with Patrick King and eventually joined his companies: Skanes Dance theatre, Oxytoc dance and SalonK.
In 2016/2017 she was assisted for Patrick King in the Romeo & Giulietta production at the Norwegian Opera Ballet.
In Italy she was invited as guest soloist with l’Ensemble of Micha Van Hoecke in various productions.
In 1999 she created and danced “Il Funambolo” directed by Tommaso Trak, with Sandra Ceccarelli and James Thierré.
Between 1999 and 2005, she worked both as choreographer and dancer in the African Suite in concert with Giorgio Gaslini, which toured throughout Italy.
In 2000 for TEATRI 90, she created and interpreted Prometheus O.G.M at Franco Parenti Theater in Milan.
In 2003 she created Vis Volans which debuted at Teatro Greco in Milan with music by Giorgio Gaslini, hosted in the Short Formats festival promoted by CRT – Teatro dell’Arte of Milan, which until 2015 made replicas – among others – to the Baires Municipality and the Magenta Municipal Theater.
From 2009 to 2011, she followed the course of academic classical dance teacher at the Accademia Teatro alla Scala.
Over the years, Britta has taught in major professional academies such as: A.I.D.A Training Center, M.A.S, Teatro Nuovo di Torino, Moma Academy and RA MAB as well as in various amateur schools.
Since September 2018 she has been the artistic director of mooov360 in Milan.
