Andrea Crescenzi was born in Potenza in 1996. In 1999, he e starts studying classic ballet.
In 2006, at the age of 10, he attends the first grade al La Scala Ballet School in Milan with the director A. M. Prina. During the Years of training at the Ballet School, he studied with important teachers as: L. Nikonov, M. Vanadia, F. Olivieri, P. Podini, T. Nikonova, B. Ratchinskaja, L. Alexandrescu, P. Vismara, A. Colombini, E. Scala and E. Tagliavia; in addition he attended some classes with guest teachers too, like N. Cavallin (école de L’Opéra de Paris), P. Nardelli (Bèjar Ballet), J. Carreno (Principaldancer in English National Ballet, Royal Ballet and American Ballet Theatre), P.A. Dennis (Guest Artist with the Jose LimònDance Company), L. Contardi (Guest teacher at La Scala Ballet Company) and Nacho Duato. In June 2014 he graduates in Linguistic High School in Milan and in May 2015 in La Scala Ballet School. In the same year he started to work in La Scala ballet Company. Andrea started working with many important choreographers such as Duato, Bigonzetti, Ratmansky etc., and in many different countries: Asia, Australia, Europe etc. His first approach to choreography was in February 2019 with the creation of “Spectra” at the Teatro Comunale di Cesenatico, a one-act ballet, a reflection of the social reality of costumes.
He is currently a dancer with the La Scala Ballet Company.
