Alena Tarasova is originally from Russia.

She studied in New York as a dancer and was working with choreographers from the US, Europe and Latin America. Back in Russia Alena was a part of Lilia Burdinskaya Dance Company for a few years. She also continued her education in dance, now as a choreographer and got a master degree at Vaganova Ballet Academy. Since then Alena found her passion in contemporary dance choreography by working with both modern and ballet trained dancers.

Now Alena continues to perform and collaborates with choreographers and artists in Russia.
