HUMAN SIGNS LIVE GRID N.2 Донцо, St. Petersburg is the second manifestation of the participatory artwork by Yuval Avital. The performance took place on November 15th, as part of the wedding celebration of Liliya Burdinskaya, the coordinator of LIVE GRID N.2.
The performance took place in a small village near St. Petersburg, where the artists found themselves surrounded by ruins and nature. The elements of this landscape became part of the grid where the artists Victoria Maksakova, Elena Churilova, Krestina Yolkina, Irina Poskorkova, Alena Tarasova, Liliya Burdinskaya, and Andrey Spiridonov made their human signs.
The performance was filmed by Vladimir Koksharov and Sergey Filimonov; and was realized with the collaboration of Alexey Kazakov, Ivan Tumanov, Pavel Krot and Georgy Tabanin.
Human Signs LIVE GRID is a series of performances that are taking place all around the globe, in ocassion of Manifesta 13’ within Real Utopias exhibition. The LIVE GRID live performances will continue during the following weeks in cities such as Tel Aviv, Bandung (Indonesia), and many others, involving amazing artists from the Human Signs community.
The LIVE GRID N.2 will premiere on Human Signs Facebook page on November 23rd, at 7.00PM CET, 9.00PM MSK
